Stock, Semi-Custom, or Custom?

• Stock cabinets. Standard sizes and a set range of door styles and finishes. Fastest and most affordable; a good fit when the layout is simple and standard widths work.
• Semi-custom cabinets. More door styles, finishes, and depth or height modifications, plus better interiors. The most common choice for a full replacement.
• Custom wood cabinets. Built to your dimensions and specifications with the door style, wood species, and finish you want. The right choice for unusual layouts, tall ceilings, or a specific look.

We’ll walk you through the trade-offs at the in-home visit. Soft-close hinges and drawer glides are standard on the lines we recommend.

What a Cabinet Replacement Can Change

Replacing the cabinets is the moment to fix the things refacing can’t. Taller uppers that use the space below a 9- or 10-foot ceiling. A pantry run where a broom closet used to be. Deep drawers instead of base cabinets with doors. An island, if the room has the clearance. If the existing layout works and the boxes are sound, we’ll say so and point you to cabinet refacing instead.

How Installation Works

1. Measure and plan. We measure the room, note plumbing and electrical locations, and lay out the new run with you.
2. Selection. You pick the line, door style, finish, and interior features, and we confirm lead times.
3. Removal. Old cabinets come out, and we check the walls and floor for anything that needs attention before the new boxes go in.
4. Installation. Cabinets are set level and plumb, scribed to the walls, and fastened to studs. Doors and drawers are aligned, and hardware goes on.
5. Finish and walkthrough. Toe kicks, fillers, and trim are installed so the run reads as built-in, and we review the kitchen with you.
